Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks Opening of WineBev Services New Facility

On June 24, 2010, Napa Mayor Jill Techel and Executive Director Margaret Farman, cut the ribbon marking the opening of our new 42,000 sq. ft. office and warehouse located at 500 Technology Way in Napa.  Accompanied by Ambassadors from the Napa Chamber of Commerce, Jill and Margaret welcomed local business owners, family members, and friends of United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay to our open house celebration.

Our new facility has separate warehouse units for packaging wine and other products that provide paid employment for over 100 adults with developmental disabilities.  By paying our employees prevailing rather than sub-minimum wages and offering work in the wine industry, we have created a work environment where all our employees can be successful – regardless of the production skills they have when they are hired.

We welcome both businesses interested in contracting with WineBev Services as well as adults with development disabilities to come for a WineBev tour and informational visit.  You will see our employees shrink wrapping wine bottles for sale at warehouse stores, assembling packaging for wine shipping, and completing short-term packaging projects for a variety of local businesses.

To learn more about what WineBev Services can do for your business, please contact Mike Lisenko, President of Business Operations, at (707) 603-0010 ext. 104 or mlisenko@ucpnb.org.  You may also visit our website at www.winebev.org.  We appreciate your support!
